When the Earth finally returned to its lost colonies, it did not return as a friend, but as a conqueror. The New Earth Commonwealth (NEC) government knew that the colonies would not welcome them back with open arms after hundreds of years of abandonment.

I never understood why a hover tank with antigrav bothers with a turret , until I realised "... because hover tanks arejust so Scifi!*" :-)
