Sad to see his passing. I was long a fan of his Stainless Steel Rat stories, James Bolivar DiGriz (and his psychopath wife, Angelina) being the sorts of anti-hero I could cotton to. I was much less of a fan, though, of his alternate history in which the American Civil War leads to the United States taking over the planet. Never mind.
I heard about this on the radio this morning. I've never actually read any of his work, but I think I have one of his alternative history novels.
Ah, the Stainless Steel Rat (mus maximus ferro imaculatum)and his beautiful, but deadly, accomplice Angelina. Happy days; Harry Harrison will be sadly missed.
