The one certainty that can be counted on is that the UK military will be defending its country from inside Afghanistan, or Iraq, or Syria , or ... anywhere but from within the UK. If UK and US soldiers are to be called heroes, what can we say of the people in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, who are fighting in their own countries against invaders, Western sponsored terrorists and armies of occupation?

As always that depends on who wins and gets to write the history....Humanity is remarkably consistent on this issue....
