boardgames to card games. This is their latest idea Fortress Moon
which is basically a retro 1950s to 60s
classic cold war science fiction game

Alan sent me a few shots of the game map, cards, and games
miniatures, so far looking good!

You can follow along here and on their Facebook page:

I plan to use this game as a campaign generator for 15mm
miniature battles, my old club did something very similar
with King Maker many years ago and it worked out great.I
think this will work out just as well. I will be putting up
more information as it becomes available....stay tuned!

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century

Buck Rogers XXVc (The 25th Century) [BOX SET]
TSR was the grand-daddy of Role Playing Game companies. Best known for Dungeons & Dragons, TSR actually developed many other games (some fine, others less than great), but none ever approached the popularity of D&D.

Interestingly, TSR had much trouble coming up with a science fiction RPG, and wanted badly to emulate the success of the Traveller RPG at rival company GDW. In 1990, they secured the license to the Buck Rogers franchise, and developed a game around it. The game never received a huge audience, but it wasn't for a lack of trying. In addition to game supplements, they published Buck Rogers novels, comics, and even a board game.

I found this in a box of stuff I was sorting through...think I bought it in 1990 never played it
so it is complete......

Icarus Industries M2 "Ursa" Hover Tanks (Hammer's Slammers)

Hammer's Slammers are one of the most powerful mercenary companies in existence. They are led by Colonel Alois Hammer and are greatly feared. They are among the best-trained and equipped troops in the galaxy, although they are not polished and are sometimes judged by this. Officers are expected to lead from the front. One of the most powerful weapons in the Hammer's Slammers arsenal is their hover tank. Along with the hover tank, Hammer's Slammers operate combat cars, Mobile 200 mm howitzers, air cars, and skimmers for the infantry. Crews often give their combat vehicles unusual names including names like Flame Thrower", "Death dealer", and "Daisy Belle"

A Miniaturised Account Of Hitler's Occult Wars

Miniatures Showcase compiled by the White Knight

The world of the weird WWII has 2 aspects that constitute both sides of one coin.
One half of it speculates about an alternative WW2 where the Axis and Allied scientists make scientific breakthroughs that change the course of history. This side of the coin focuses on inventions like armored walkers, rocketpacks, and power armor. On the darker end it includes medical experiments to create a race of enhanced supersoldiers, often at great cost of lives.
On the other side of the coin, there is only darkness, for this is the occult side. In this world the nations of the second world war are not engaged in a conventional race of arms, but one of harvesting occult powers through the search for ancient artefacts - such as the lost Ark of the Covenant, the Spear of Longinus and the Holy Grail - and the awakening of old evils. This is a WW2 where the dead don't always stay dead, where men are made into beasts and where each faction strives to control powers they can barely comprehend.
Together, these two aspects combine into the horrifying, yet enthralling setting for a Weird World War II. You may enter it if you dare, but remember... death is not the worst fate that can happen to you.

Awesome/Lame: Alien Visitors

From humanity's earliest days, we have looked up into the night sky and asked ourselves, "Are we alone in the universe? Will we ever encounter life from other planets? And will they be awesome or lame?" Here are twenty different species of interstellar sightseers who came to Earth and either impressed or annoyed us.
