Prometheus is a 2012 science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott, and written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof. The film stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, and Charlize Theron.
After all the hype and bad press, I picked up the DVD and found
the film rather entertaining, it answered a few of the background
questions of the Alien universe. Far more (were deliberately) left
to be answered by subsequent films, over all on a 1 to 10 scale I
give it a 7.

feel about the same, I might up it to an 8 or 9.
A fair score, Don.The geek in me loved the effects. The scientist medic and expeditioneer hated the bad science and reckless risks in poking anything alien and potentially infectively dangerous. The art luvvy recognised that a film, in which everything went according to plan, would have been very dull! Yup, about 7/10 with four stars for effort.
