THE PLOT:

The story takes place in a universe where historical WWII-era tanks are maintained for sports warfare competitions and large carrier ships known as Academy Ships support mobile sea communities. Of the many activities high school girls can participate in, one of the most popular is "sensha-dō" (戦車道^?, lit. "the way of the tank"),^[ the art of operating tanks, which is considered a traditional martial art. Miho Nishizumi, a girl from a prestigious family of sensha-dō practitioners who became traumatized by a past event, transfers to Ōarai Girls High School to get away from sensha-dō, as she presumed the school was no longer practicing the sport. However, shortly after Miho begins her new school life and makes some new friends, the student council announces the revival of sensha-dō at Ōarai and coerces Miho, the only student with prior experience, to join. While reluctant to join at first, having practically been forced, Miho soon warms up to sensha-dō again and comes to enjoy it, after which the school prepares to enter a national sensha-dō championship, facing off against various other schools

This single prototype of a heavy tank was ordered by the General Staff in 1924 from Vickers. It remains one of the most influential design of the interwar, launching a “fad” for multi-turreted tanks that will last until ww2. At its core lays the trench warfare concept of a breakthrough tank, essentially to create an equivalent of the Naval dreadnoughts, with a fleet of faster light tanks roaming around like destroyers. The idea was deeply embedded in the team responsible for the first Tanks in UK, in particular Sir Winston Churchill, as Lord of the Admiralty was quite influenced by HG Wells “Land battleship” idea. The same idea was also shared by the French father of Tanks, General Estienne, that lobbied for the construction of the FCM 2C, operational just two years earlier.

using the old "LASERBURN" Dreadnought designation.

This Mercenary battalion will be a combined arms unit

with it's own Armor, Transport, Artillery, and limited

Air Assets. The unit is primarily recruited from the NAC

(American/English) domain and falls under that flag in

the event of general war....

The last appearance by WWII German tanks on the world’s battlefields came in 1967, when Syria’s panzer force faced off against modern Israeli armor. Quite improbably, Syria had assembled it’s collection of ex-Wehrmacht vehicles from a half-dozen sources over a decade and a half timeframe.
