A BattleMech (often abbreviated 'Mech, although that could technically also refer to IndustrialMechs) is an armored combat vehicle of roughly humanoid shape, standing 8 to 14 meters tall and typically massing from 20 to 100 tons. 'Mechs are best suited for ground combat, although they are also capable of operations underwater, in hazardous environments and in space. BattleTechWiki
The sale will run from 00:00 hours* (Midnight, UK time) tonight until Midnight next Sunday, the 22nd.
* Or even a little earlier if I decide to turn it on sooner......
In other words it will be on for ONE WEEK ONLY!
That gives you all a week to get your orders in, then allows me a week or so to catch up with dispatching them all before the end of the month, which is when I will have to start planning and casting for the forthcoming Autumn shows.
This year's Summer Sale is a simple one - no codes to enter, and no minimum qualifying order size - the sale prices will automatically be charged on all the eligible items - once the sale has begun, all the included items will have the special sale prices shown in RED on their product listing.
The SALE DISCOUNT is 20% OFF the normal retail prices on all of our 15mm and FT codes - in other words the following ranges: SG15, MG15, TW15, V15 and all FT code items!
I'm afraid that this time round the 2mm, 6mm and 25mm codes are NOT included in the sale, mainly because I have to cast most of those up specially when they are ordered, while I try to hold almost all of the 15mm and FT ranges in stock most of the time.
Obviously you can order SALE and non-sale items in the same order, but only the qualifying items will come up at sale prices.
The FUBAR Wargames blog is dedicated to publishing free, simple, brief and clear rules for wargames.
Many of the sets featured here are the products of a collaboration between Craig Cartmell and a group of stalwart and imaginative wargamers who are called collectively The Forge of War Development Group.
The group’s golden rule is credit where credit is due. Thus each person who contributes to a game is credited for that contribution in the ruleset.
Craig has been designing and publishing free sets of rules for over twenty years, and gaming for a lot longer than that. Recently he hit pay dirt co-authoring the In Her Majesty’s Name series of wargames rules for Osprey with his old friend Charles Murton. This led him to not working on FUBAR and other projects, something that will now change with the creation of this blog. Craig Cartmell, is a little strange and likes to talk about himself in the third person.
Got these in the mail today, not bad for the price, the shipping speed was better than most of the stuff I got from China. Just have to take out the pull back motor and wheels. Almost a true 15mm in scale
will be repainted of course and used for Stargrunt II and other sci-fi games.
The Evil Empire on the Brazos (BEE) chronicles the on going wars (games) and the diplomatic efforts (Posts/GNN Reports) of all the known nations (wargame collections) in my little area of the galaxy. My goal is to both entertain
and inform those new to art of miniature wargaming, and have a few laughs with it. This Blog is open to all and also welcomes comment from all and I hope that many will come to join in the madness.....)
